W. Richard Shovan, CPA, MST, CVA, has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Accounting (Ferris State College) and a Master of Science in Taxation (Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration). His experience includes ten years as a field auditor for the Michigan Department of Treasury, eight years as Director of Taxes for a privately held multinational group of corporations and nine years in public accounting for both local and national firms. He specializes in providing tax and accounting services to small and medium-sized business as well as computer support services. In addition, he is a Certified Valuation Analyst. (CVA), assisting clients and their legal representatives in valuing businesses for estate and gift taxes, dissenting stockholder actions and mergers and acquisitions.
